We learn how to share and take turns with our friends on the playground. We get to practice our social skills and make some friendly, new acquaintances. We can practise talking and listening while we play games too. We preschoolers have play needs. We need toys that are the right scale for us to climb, slide and swing on. Finally, we get to be creative by playing outside on the playground. We can make believe we are pirates on a ship, princesses in a castle or explorers in the jungle. Endless potential here! By providing play spaces such as sandboxes, water tables, play houses, we are able to allow our imaginations to flourish and make up fun games. Therefore, regarding things that inspire our creativity, it is necessary for preschool playgrounds to have.
