Gather around, friends! Today we’re going to discuss something very serious — playground etiquette! Playgrounds are where lots of good times are, but, just like at any time and in any place, there are rules to follow, and others to be nice to as we play. It’s time to find out why playground etiquette matters.
The rules for playing penny toss are just like a map that keep us safe and having fun. If we all follow rules, such as waiting our turn for the slide or being nice to others, everyone will have fun at the playground. It's good to listen to adults and follow the signs to be safe and have fun when we play.
To ensure everyone feels welcomed at the playground, Staver says it’s important that we are nice to others and include everyone in our games. We could also help to keep the playground clean by picking up after ourselves and putting toys away when we are finished playing. If we all work together and are nice then we can make a playground where everyone feels happy and safe.
It’s just that we can have even more fun when we use our imagination on the playground! Just picture swinging the swings to make a pirate ship or the monkey bars into a castle, the ideas are limitless! At-bat I play for pleasure, and creative play enriches the problem-solving mind, boosting creativity. So the next time you’re at the playground, let those dreams take flight!
Playgrounds aren’t just for play, they also are where we develop our best friends and our sense of cooperation. When we adhere to playground etiquette by waiting in line one after the other, or taking turns, or by sharing toys, we let others know that we care. We can even work on how to communicate well and how to work with others in group games. We forge a strong community and create lasting friendships through playground traditions.
Three heads are better than one! When we play together in the playground, we have some very amazing things we do. From running from game of tag to building sandcastles, I keep thinking of ways that teamwork helps the team out, and that we reach our goals together.
